A Lack of Snow

It was supposed to snow today, or at least that's what the forecast has called for over the last week or so. This would have been either the second or the third snow [+]depending on how you count it of the still young year, making this a particularly snowy January for Virginia, and more so for the widening chaos bands of a world pushing the top margins of predicted climate change.
So, I made pizza. The snow, or the threat of snow, has meant more attempts at getting good at Detroit-style pizza, since using an Ooni while in weather is not the most pleasant experience.
I am also coming to the last stretch of some minor home renovations, the experience of which had me questioning my affinity for HGTV [+]I'd been largely unmoved by a lot of the recent HGTV shows. Between subscribing to Max and spending a couple nights each month in a hotel, I thought the novelty had faded, but then I discovered Fix my Frankenhouse and was back in, but the results of which I am very much a fan of.
I still have one more large item on the todo list, and minor decorative tweaks, but here's a few of the in-progress pics.
