I'm two years in to an accidental tradition - steak on the 4th.  Both New York Strips - which is not my go to at all - though in 2022 I had a 2016 World's End 'If 6 were 9' Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon [1] and in this year I cracked open a 2020 Ridge Geyserville [2].
