My notes

This is another Bond film that I remember being far more complicated in plot than it was on rewatch. Unfortunately, that simple plot isn't necessarily great. Bond wants revenge for the death of his love from Casino Royale and accidentally stumbles into an international plot involving an eco-celebrity that's actually a corporate resource warlord. There's the last minute fake that the resource isn't oil, but water (including the completely unnecessary killing of Ms Fields in oil which raises some logistical questions).

However, as the only Craig-Bond film under two hours, it's well paced and well photographed. It was nice to see the Bond franchise flirting with continuity.
