First viewing. An adequately constructed film that simultaneously feels too long and too short. Well photographed action, a nice use of locations and real sets and real people. Good visual contrast. The story is relatively cliché and there’s some plot points that don’t make sense (how on earth did Sonny end up with a soft top, 2-door G-wagon in a foreign country? How is his van moving without him?), but still it’s a nice blockbuster that allows you to get emotionally swept up in the action as long as your turn your brain off.
